Choose UTrade 1-Step Challenge if: You already know your strategy works and want the fastest path to funding through evaluation. Pass one assessment phase and start trading funded.

Forex/CFD Evaluation Limits:
Maximum Assessment Limits: A maximum of $1 million in active evaluation plans per person is permitted (Forex/CFD). This can be composed of multiple assessments, provided that none are the same account size within the same Step framework.
Maximum Funded Limits: A maximum of $1 million in active funded plans per person is permitted. If you pass multiple assessments and have 2 active funded accounts of the same size, you can either: (1) keep one active and wait for the other to be breached, or (2) if no trading has taken place in either, combine them into a single account of double the size.
Compounding Limits: There are no limits on compounding. You can grow your funded account to any balance you desire--$10 million, $20 million, and beyond.
After purchase, you'll receive:
You can begin trading immediately once your account is activated (typically within 24 hours). For Instant Funding purchases, your funded account is ready to trade right away. Charges will appear as dashboardanalytix.com on your statement.
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the applicable minimum legal age in your country, to purchase an assessment.
Yes. UTradeCapital Inc. is a company registered federally with the Government of Canada.
The Daily Loss Limit is the maximum amount an account may lose in a single trading day. This limit resets each day at 5:00 PM EST.
The Daily Loss Limit is calculated using the greater of the prior day's end of day balance (which includes closed P&L only) or the prior day's end of day equity (which includes both balance and any open P&L). This approach ensures that unrealized gains at the end of the trading day are properly reflected when determining the allowable loss for the following session.
Example for a $100,000 account with a 5% Daily Loss Limit:
The Maximum Drawdown rules differ by product:
UTrade 2-Step Challenge: 5% daily loss, 7% drawdown (8% with add-on purchase) (static, based on closed balance). Does not trail. This is a hard breach.
UTrade 1-Step Challenge: 5% daily loss, 6% max drawdown (equity-based). Does not trail. This is a hard breach.
UTrade Instant Funding: 5% daily loss, 8% max drawdown (trailing). This is a hard breach.
For 2-Step and 1-Step challenges, the drawdown will remain at the same value for as long as the account remains active. For Instant Funding, the drawdown trails (moves up with your highest balance).
Example for a $100,000 2-Step account (8% static drawdown):
Example for a $100,000 1-Step account (6% equity-based, non-trailing):
Example for a $100,000 Instant Funding account (8% trailing):

Once you reach the equity growth target in each phase and meet the minimum trading days requirement, you'll advance to the next phase. There's no maximum profit--you can exceed the target without any penalty.
All Products: Minimum 3 profitable trading days with at least 0.5% gain each day. This applies to both evaluation phases and funded accounts.
The days don't need to be consecutive--you can take breaks between trading days. There is no maximum time limit to complete the evaluation.
Soft Breach: A soft breach means that we will close all trades that have violated the rule. However, you can continue trading in your Assessment or Funded Account. Examples of soft breaches include:
Repeated soft breaches may result in account review and potential escalation to a hard breach at the Company's discretion.
Hard Breach: A hard breach means that you violated either the Daily Loss Limit or Max Drawdown rule. Both rules constitute a hard breach. In the event you have a hard breach, you will fail the Assessment or have your Funded Account taken away.
If you have a hard breach in your funded account, any accumulated gains in the account will be forfeited unless you have purchased the Payout Protector add-on. This applies to plans purchased on or after March 23, 2026.
What is Payout Protector? Payout Protector is an optional add-on, selected at the time of purchase, that allows you to still receive a payout on any gains in your account despite a breach (provided all other withdrawal conditions are met). It does not prevent your account from breaching or alter any risk parameters — it only protects your gains from forfeiture.
Example: You have a $100,000 account that grows to $108,000 and then have a hard breach. Without Payout Protector, the $8,000 in gains is forfeited. With Payout Protector, you receive your 80% portion ($6,400).
Is the forfeiture proportional? No. All accumulated gains are forfeited in full, regardless of the amount. For example, if you have $20,000 in gains and breach the 5% daily limit, the entire $20,000 is forfeited (unless you have Payout Protector).
What if I already submitted a payout request? If you have a pending withdrawal request that is currently being processed, your account is disabled for trading during that time. A payout that has already been submitted and is in processing is not affected by the forfeiture policy.
2-Step and 1-Step Challenges (Forex/CFD): Yes, you can hold trades overnight and over weekends.
Instant Funding (Forex/CFD): Positions must be closed by 3:45 PM EST on Fridays. A weekend hold add-on is available for 10% of the purchase price.
In all cases, you remain responsible for managing your risk during market closures. Be aware that:
Opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a News Event is prohibited.
You cannot open new positions during:
Any traders identified as having opened a position during a News Event are subject to having that position closed and the associated P&L removed from their account, having the leverage on their account reduced, or having their account breached altogether.
The Company has sole and absolute discretion in determining what constitutes a News Event. This rule is intended to protect the integrity of our program and is not meant to penalize traders who inadvertently trade through a news event.
It depends on the type of violation:
Soft Breach: We will close all trades that violated the rule, but you can continue trading in your Assessment or Funded Account.
Hard Breach (Daily Loss Limit or Max Drawdown): Your challenge or funded account ends immediately. You will need to purchase a new challenge to try again.
Forex/CFD: Your account will be breached if you do not have any trading activity for 30 consecutive days. This applies to both assessment and funded accounts.
Yes. Subject to our policy on Prohibited Trading, you can trade using an automated strategy. However, the following are still prohibited even with automated strategies:
We offer the following leverage:
You can trade any products streamed by the Liquidity Provider into the available platforms. Available products may change from time to time. This includes:
The maximum position you may open is determined by your available margin. We reserve the right to increase the margin requirement, limit the number of open positions you may enter or maintain in the Funded Account at any time, and to revise in response to market conditions the drawdown levels at which trading in the Funded Account will be halted. We or the Broker reserve the right to refuse to accept any order.
Subject to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, traders from all countries, excluding countries or regions subject to U.S. economic sanctions (OFAC-sanctioned regions), can take part in our program, unless otherwise limited at the Company's discretion.
When trading a Funded Account for our firm, you are treated as an independent contractor. As a result, you are responsible for any and all taxes on your gains.
No. We do not have any control over pricing from the liquidity provider or on the executions on your trades. Funded accounts receive the same pricing and commissions as charged by our Liquidity Provider to other self-funded, retail trading accounts.
Funded accounts receive the same pricing and commissions as charged by our Liquidity Provider to other self-funded, retail trading accounts.
Our technology is currently integrated with DXtrade, MatchTrader, cTrader, and GooeyPro (via GooeyTrade) platforms. You choose your platform when purchasing your challenge.
We have risk management software that is synced with the accounts we create, which allows us to analyze your performance in real time. As such, you must use an account that we provide to you--you cannot use your own existing accounts.
You can check trading hours for each product by using these methods:
For purposes of managing risk and minimizing transaction costs, we may offset or negate market risk and act as the direct counterparty to certain trades initiated in the Account. Such trades are executed at prices provided by arm's length third parties. This framework ensures you receive real market execution on your trades, while allowing us to manage risk dynamically. Regardless of whether we act as counterparty, the gain or loss on your funded account is not calculated differently.
Once you pass the Assessment, we provide you with a funded account, backed by our capital. The capital in your funded Account is notional and may not match the amount of capital on deposit with the Liquidity Provider. Use of notional funding does not impact your trading conditions in any way.
Forex/CFD funded accounts use an 80/20 gains split--you receive 80%, we keep 20%.
Forex/CFD Withdrawals: Your first withdrawal can be requested at any time. Thereafter, you can request a withdrawal every 14 days. When a withdrawal is approved, we will also withdraw our share of the gains.
Important: The drawdown does not reset when you request a withdrawal. If you withdraw all of your profits, you risk violating the Maximum Drawdown rule and losing the account.
Example (Forex/CFD): You have a $100,000 account that grows to $120,000. You request a withdrawal of $16,000. You would receive $12,800 (80%) and we would retain $3,200 (20%). This takes your balance to $104,000. If LUP is enabled (1-Step/Instant Funding by default), your Maximum Drawdown will lock at the starting balance of the account unless you purchased the LUP Disable Fee to disable it.
Forex/CFD: Your first withdrawal can be requested at any time. After that, you can request a withdrawal every 14 days.
To withdraw, click the Withdraw Profits button in your trader dashboard and enter the amount. All gains are distributed via the available outbound payment solutions offered from time to time. We reserve the right to change the withdrawal methods and options at any time.
Remember: The drawdown does NOT reset when you withdraw. Plan your withdrawals carefully to maintain enough buffer above your Maximum Drawdown limit.
2-Step and 1-Step Challenges: Challenge fees are non-refundable. Upon successful completion of all evaluation phases, you will receive your funded account at the original account size.
Instant Funding: Instant Funding fees are non-refundable and are not added to the funded account balance, as no evaluation is required.
LUP Disable Fee: The LUP Disable Fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Failed challenges: Challenge fees are non-refundable once the challenge begins. No refunds for failed challenges, even if unused.
For 1-Step Challenge and Instant Funding accounts, Drawdown Lock Upon Payout is enabled by default. This means that when you request your first payout, your maximum drawdown becomes permanently locked at your original starting balance. (Note: 2-Step Challenge accounts have LUP disabled by default.) For example, a $100,000 account that grows to $115,000--once you request a payout, your balance can never fall below $100,000.
The LUP Disable Fee disables this lock, giving you more flexibility after payouts. With this protection, your drawdown limit stays at its original level (e.g., $92,000 for a 2-Step $100K account) even after you withdraw profits.
Key details:
Example: You purchase a $100K 2-Step Challenge ($562.50). The LUP Disable Fee would be $140.63 (25% of $562.50). Without it, your drawdown locks at $100,000 after your first payout. With it, your drawdown stays at $92,000 regardless of payouts.
Lock Upon Payout (LUP) means that when you submit your first payout request, your maximum drawdown becomes permanently locked at the original starting balance of the account.
LUP status by product:
Example: You have a $100,000 1-Step account that grows to $110,000. When you submit a payout request, the maximum drawdown becomes permanently locked at $100,000. From that point forward, your account balance may not fall below $100,000.
You can purchase the LUP Disable Fee (25% of the challenge purchase price) at checkout to disable this lock. With this protection, your drawdown limit stays at its original level regardless of payouts.
If you fail a challenge (hard breach), you will need to purchase a new challenge to try again. Your initial drawdown allowance is permanent on the account for as long as it remains active.
Example: 10K 2-Step Challenge = $62.50, or 10K 1-Step Challenge = $68.
